A Wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ a Head Creditors Accountant for a group of companies. We are looking for an honest, hardworking and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned position.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
• Computer literate (specifically MS Word & Excel, Navision will be an advantage)
• Must have own transport
• Good communication skills
• Must be willing to work in a team
• Good numeracy skills
• Tertiary qualification in Finance  -Degree or Financial Diploma
• 4-5 years experience
• Good leadership skills

Duties include:

• Invoice processing
• Creating new assets on the system and ensure the correct purchase process for assets
• Weekly cashflow
• Overseas payments
• Update project reports and expenditure
• Reconciliations for each supplier
• Ensure that payments are processed within the correct time line / deadline
• Keeping record of all insurance claims
• Dealing with payment queries  from suppliers , follow up on outstanding documentation
• Ensure that departments adhere to the purchase procedure
• Oversee creditor department
• Assist financial manager with reports
