The Head of Information Technology role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives aligned to business strategies. Responsibilities include planning and implementation of IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business opportunity optimization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Degree or National Diploma in Information Systems or related field
Industry recognized certifications, such as Microsoft MCSE/MCITP or CISCO Certified Network Associate/Professional certification
Proven experience of at least 6 years being responsible for the overall strategic direction of ICT infrastructure and information technology services of a medium size organisation
Experience in a clinical research or medical environment preferable
Experience configuring networks and servers, as well as data storage solutions
Extensive experience with vendor and supplier management, including drafting and monitoring of service level agreements and extensive project scoping and implementation.
