A leading BPO company has a great job opportunity for a Head of Business Development to join their team in Johannesburg. The Head of Business Development will work to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth

The Head of Business Development in Johannesburg will define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions

This job will require you to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization. To achieve this, you will need to find potential new customers, present to them, and convert them into clients. The Head of Business Development is required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients' future needs

Requirements for this Head of Business Development job in Johannesburg:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 years of experience in the sales environment
- Relevant Services / Outsourcing business sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years serving in a senior selling capacity
- Demonstrate expertise in understanding a sales process or methodology, designed to win large services deals
- Experience within the BPO/ Outsourced environment
- Worked with and sold to C level
- Writing and articulating proposals and RFP's in conjunction with Solutions SME's
- Worked in a cohesive team sales environment
- Worked in a related industry where an understanding of outsourcing is evident
- Has experienced long term strategic sales journey cycle, and understands steps to take
