GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Head of Channel Management’s role is to improve the company’s market position and achieve sales and revenue growth targets, as assigned, across all sales channels including direct marketing, face to face, and e-commerce.
Give input into long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals as well as maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Formal qualification(s):
BCom degree/Diploma in Marketing, Sales and or Customer Relations
Postgraduate Diploma, or studying towards advantageous
Legal requirements
Valid code B driver’s license and own transport
Passed credit and criminal checks
S.A Citizen or valid work permit for S.A
Experience
Head of Channel management positions require a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience.
Experience within the telecommunications market an added advantage;
Experience in designing, setting up, and maintaining, sales channels for business growth.
