The incumbent will formulate, implement and lead a solid “outside in” strategic client focused service methodology, with a strong business partnering approach, to existing and new clients in the PSO business across South Africa. The incumbent will guide the innovation and growth of PSO payment and settlement systems and services with the industry and the regulator as the NPS matures and evolves

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate senior stakeholder relations for the evolution and growth of NPS products through establishing a strategic conversations with key stakeholders, clients and influencers in our markets
• Ensure client-centric service management to ensure all products offer effective client value
• Ensure client training and testing facilities are established, operational and effective at all times
• Ensure leadership and coordination of value added services to NPS products in line with client and regulatory innovations and requirements
• Take full ownership of the complete client strategy across all the identified focus areas.
• Responsible for ensuring that client expectations are managed and exceeded through superior implementation, delivery and management of products and services.
• Develop a customer engagement plan with key decision makers. This must include senior management within the customer/influencers within the country and ability to lead a strategic discussion at bank and industry level.
• Drive large opportunities and incremental revenue through building strategic relationships with key corporates/clients
• Develop and implement volume growth strategies within the existing client base and region, focusing on client volume, payment volume and data volume.
• Develop possible improvements using product, client and market information and assessments
• Provide a full strategic “outside in” / needs based approach to client and stakeholder engagement

Systemically analyse clients and competitive business trends to assist with development of profitable growth platforms such as: Geographic growth opportunities, combining product functionalities, simplifying services and business processes


Requirements : Qualifications and experience:

• Matric and business related tertiary qualification
• 10 – 15 years related experience
• Possess solid payments industry experience, preferably gained in Business Development/Product management with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions
