Qualification:

CA (SA)



Skills & Experience:

Financial Services and Insurance experience preferred

Approximately 8 years’ experience in a statutory reporting accounting and a financial environment

Strong International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Heaps of experience in consolidation and accounting processes and procedures

Understanding key performance drivers and group businesses

Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management

Experience in financial reporting systems



Job Description:

Implementing and maintaining efficient and effective consolidation processes

Managing change processes

Preparation of Group annual financial statements and interim results

Understanding drivers of statutory information – year end and interim

Preparation of the quarterly statutory information as input to regulatory reporting process

Reviewing results

Responsible for accuracy of information and reviewing work performed by team members
