As the Head of Training in Johannesburg you will have full responsibility for leading the Training functions in the organisation. This job will require you to build on and improve the methodology, systems and processes currently in place for the induction and training of new entrants into the organisation and for the continued development and training of existing employees at all levels. You will also be designing, managing and ensuring delivery of training for the Sales Consultants and Sales Management team.

Requirements for this Head of Training job in Johannesburg:
- A background in sales training and a deep, keen and demonstrable understanding of business to consumer selling (“retail type”) as well as sales management
- A track record in achieving measurable sales results aligned to business strategy is essential. The sales must be of the highest quality and ethics
- A successful working knowledge of best practice training methodologies, customised programme development and delivery is necessary, all designed to assist in achieving the best possible performance outcomes
- Training in a financial institution’s outbound call centre environment would be helpful
- Specialist training qualifications and tertiary qualification in Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Education, Organisational Development or HR, (specialising in training in the latter case; Skills Development Facilitator; Train the Trainer and Assessor/moderator and related courses would be an advantage
