You will create, manage and integrate web, mobile and social properties and backend insurance systems to drive SALES and SERVICE.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 + Relevant Degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar digital role in the financial services industry
Experience in project management is advantageous
A minimum of 2 years middle management experience
Computer literate

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Digital distribution strategies

Keep abreast with trends and best practices within insurance and financial services industries in order to enhance and streamline the digital function
Present regularly at an Exco & Board level and be a champion for digital within the organisation.
Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy
Develop and implement a strategy for digital sales
Develop and implement a strategy for digital service / self service
Investigate best practice systems, processes and methodologies that will optimise and increase the profitability and efficiency of the digital business
Develop and implement quality assurance on all digital systems.
Develop Client acquisition and retention strategies, frameworks and operational plans that is in line with client centricity and legislation
Develop and implement the business processes and standards in support of the strategy
Develop and implement business plans and budgets in order to ensure targets are met and the business achieves the required targets
Develop and implement strategies to develop, enhance and expand the business

Drive effective operations

Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities for the Digital distribution business
Develop and implement an Online distribution insurance distribution platform for the distribution of products
Contribute and liaise with insurance stake holders to develop and/or change existing products for digital channels.
Develop and Implement an integrated Online distribution solution(s) that combines products, technologies, sales processes and the customer experience
Develop and implement lead management practices aligned to best practices in order to increase the conversion of leads

Drive financial and governance practices

Set and drive the achievement of sales targets
Ensure the operations strategy is adequately budgeted for and the budget is management and monitored appropriately
Research and understand the changing compliance landscape. Ensure the business is at all times 100% digitally compliant
Drive the development and implementation governance, compliance and ethics frameworks
Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management and financial controls

Drive a client centric environment through effective people management

Build and maintain sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Facilitate the collaboration between internal and external stakeholders in order to foster effective working relationships
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify changing client needs and align the offering with client needs
Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provide excellent client service
Contribute to a positive work environment and culture that energise employees, give meaning to work and adapts easily to change
