My client seeks to attract a dynamic individual to complement their already passionate team based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate must have experience as an entrepreneur, trainer, business developer and mentor in the small business sector as well as a solid understanding of a corporate value chain.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing various programmes for potential, new and existing clients to ensure that the business can exceed their client’s needs and expectations. In doing so, the Head of Entrepreneur Development will need to work with the business's team to povide solution and lead the delivery of entrepreneurship and small business development programmes.

Knowledge and Experience:

The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification with 5-8 years of relevant business experience:
• Understanding of the entrepreneurial, SMME supplier development ecosystem
• A clear understanding of the amended B-BBEE codes and their direct impact on Enterprise & Supplier Development
• Understanding of business landscape with specific reference to the target market having had professional experience in management consulting, finance, entrepreneurial and/or supply chain disciplines
• Understanding of the corporate value chain
• Entrepreneurial experience essential
• Executive presence, authentic and engaging communicator with strong presentation skills
• Commercial, analytical acumen with project management experience
• Innovative and creative approach to finding business solutions
• Ability to work with a passionate team and provide leadership
• Intercultural awareness and experience
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel essential
