Key Performance Areas:

? Setup and operation of laboratory
? Ensure correct sampling and testing procedures according to Lab Manual
? Record and report product deviations
? Perform laboratory administration
? Conduct audits
? People management

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a BSc./ B. Tech Food Technology / Food Science qualification
? 3 – 5 years proven experience of laboratory management, quality control and quality assurance
? Knowledge of food safety and quality systems eg. ISO & HACCP would be an advantage
? Excellent computer literacy - system knowledge of Entropy would be an advantage
? Experience in a milk environment would be an advantage
? Ability to work under pressure
? Willing to work overtime, public holidays and weekends
? Valid license and own transport
? Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? Must have good problem solving skills
