Are you a Risk and Compliance Manager ready to step into a Head of Legal and Compliance position? I am looking for someone that are ethical and is an independent professional with a Legal degree. A minimum of 6 years’ experience with compliance and risk of which 3 years has been within insurance. If you have experience with risk identification, reporting of violations and implemented enterprise and compliance risk management strategies, then I would like to hear from you.



Qualification:

LLB or relevant degree

Diploma in Compliance Management

FAIS approved as Compliance Officer (Is a must)

Member of CISA



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 6 years’ experience in risk and compliance management

Strong knowledge on GOI, Companies Act and King Code on Corporate Governance

Strong experience within Insurance



Job Description:

Actively oversee the implementation and maintenance of an effective and well-monitored regulatory compliance framework.

Ensure to establishing a clear risk framework, setting common standards, assessing adherence to standards, and providing training and guidance.

Provide effective implementation of risk and compliance plans and monitoring programmes.

Focus on establishing and maintaining a compliance culture in the group.

Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate and / or required.

Hands on Management of new regulatory requirements by evaluating regulations identified as relevant to the business and provide an impact analysis relevant to the business.
