NB: Experience in the FMCG, especially in the food space.
Classic Marketing and Brand Management is essential
Its an EE appointment
Experience 5-7 years in the FMCG industry
Exposure in Africa in terms of marketing and branding
Responsibilities;
1. Drive national marketing and brand strategic direction and implementation of the SA and Africa brand
2. Set and manage budget splits in line with SA brand strategy and integrated into Africa.
3. Identify brand innovation and product development opportunities by the region
4. Ensure alignment with central guidelines
5. Understand and develop ATL, BTL, and TTL brand plans through; Marketing analysis, Strategic objectives, Media Plan
6. Drive Digital Marketing and PR functions
7. Develop and implement; Trade channel strategies, and relevant POS, Consumer promotional cycles
8. Plan and implement: Trade shows and events
9. Lead brand review sessions and share market implementation
10.Lead brand performance management drive
11.Manage work partner agreements and deliverables
12.Set marketing strategy and team
Skills and Experience Required;
1. Minimum 5-7 years experience in FMCG marketing and brand management
2. Marketing or related qualification
3. Trade Marketing experience is essential
4. Proven strategy development experience
5. Budgetary control and cost management experience
6. Good knowledge of FMCG Channels
7. High knowledge level of NPD processes
8. Experience of Agency procedures and successful management thereof
9. Excellent people management, communicate and interpersonal skills and experience
10.Sound presentation, negotiation and time management skills
11.Good stakeholder relations
12. Analytical and planning skills are highly essential
13. Attention to detail, especially in complex sitiuations
