Head of Search Engine Optimization

One of South-Africa’s most successfully established SEO and Digital Marketing Agencies is on the hunt for a Head of Search.

Requirements:

Suitable Tertiary Education towards Business, Communication Studies, or Marketing
Google Analytics AND AdWords Certification
Minimum of 8 years of SEO experience in an agency environment with proven track record of driving remarkable business results from SEO
Expert understanding of SEO principles and guidelines
Solid level of experience in working on award winning campaigns that solve business challenges with creative solutions
Advanced knowledge of information architecture, taxonomy and web usability
Understanding of basic web design and technology principles and their SEO implications
Solution driven, strong analytical aptitude with excellent communication skills

The Head of Search will work closely with the Digital Strategy Director and content team to define search strategies for a range of local and international blue chip clients.
