As Head of Shopper Marketing, you will lead the team of Brand Strategists, Researchers, Graphic Designers, Social Media Manager and New Innovation project teams. You will be required to translate your skills and knowledge to build and share shopper marketing best practices in the areas of shopper strategy across multiple brands. Provide the Brand, Creatives and Sales team with insights for building & executing effective shopper strategies and optimized Path to Purchase campaigns.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Shopper Strategy & Communication Guidelines that drive efficiency and consistency across Shopper Marketing and is integrated with Brand, Digital & Communications practices.
• Lead collaboration and consistent communication / sharing of shopper best practices among Brand Strategists and Sales
• Decision-Making Skills: Decisions on final copy, final art and brand strategy.
• Management Skills: Keep many creatives on schedule and manage own time
• Presentation Skills: Able to present and capturing your audience to believe in your strategic solutions.
• Responsible for the development and capabilities of cross functional resources in Brand and Sales – through influence
• Achieving corporate objectives on Sales Growth, Brand and Marketing ROI.
• Provide Artwork and Creative direction

We are not negotiable on the following requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
• Degree in Marketing
• Strong Brand Management and Shopper marketing experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
• Experience in FMCG space
• Willingness to travel
