HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN - PHARMACEUTICAL

A multinational company has a positon for Head of Supply Chain in the Human Pharma division based in Randburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Act as the principal contact in all Supply Chain related topics for Human Pharma.
• Enable business performance and contribute to an improved profitability.
• Ensure compliance with regard to all relevant rules and regulations.
• Assure accurate forecasting and planning of materials and reliable, timely purchasing and distribution of materials.
• Support development and monitor Supply Chain related targets.
• Propose and align with key stakeholders strategies to improve distribution, planning and purchasing models.
• Prepare and monitor the cost centre costing.
• Represent the company (South Africa) in global and regional projects and meetings.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc) Business Administration and/or Bachelor’s degree preferably in related subject.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain including 1 to 3 years of leading people/projects preferably in Pharma industry in international environment
• Demand planning and forecasting experience is required.
• Strong functional and good business know-how, business acumen, strong process thinking.
• Strong technical skills in systems (SAP) and tools (SCM).
• Strong analytical thinking, esp. ability to understand and work on complex business, finance and controlling related topics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to prepare topics and to explain them in a way understandable to non-experts.
• Understanding "big picture", future oriented, ability to look beyond own responsibility.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Team Player, Adaptability, Solution and customer focus.
• Able to energize and motivate a team.

This position will commence in 2018.
