A Top Financial Leader is searching for a Head of User Experience & Website Manager (UX) in a leading rewards programme environment. A team player with a “Can do” attitude is what it will take to join this dynamic, fast moving environment.

Role description:

• Head of User Experience will be accountable for the management and control the online environment.
• Managing the user experience on all digital platforms i.e. web, mobile and tablet.
• Requires strong inter-personal skills to interface regularly with a variety of teams such as Project Office, Marketing, Technology, Business Analysis and CRM to define and reach agreed targets.
• Strong business acumen will be required to drive digital channels & clear understanding of the business unit strategy.
• Effective line management skills are needed to manage and motivate subordinates
• Define and implement User Experience (UX) strategy as well as manage the Usability testing process with User Interface specialist consultants and content specialist to ensure a superior User Experience.
• Understanding technical process flow design and converting this to final screen design flows is a must, ensuring that all development done will be both user friendly and aligned with the business objectives.

Essential Technical skills:
• Solid understanding of user centered design and process flows.
• Understanding of online fulfillment processes, ecommerce and the management thereof.
• Understanding of Business Specifications as well as Functional Requirement Specification to be able to interpret and brief team on tasks for projects.
• Development of user interface GUI and process flows as well as final screen designs.
• Review and sign-off of Business Requirement Specification documents as well and Technical Functional Specification documents.
• Broad understanding of latest Internet and device relate technologies and standards.
• Familiar with Usability testing and objectives of usability testing.

Experience with Photo imaging, Raster/bitmap and Vector illustration packages:
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Experience in Web development languages:
• HTML & HTLM5
• CSS & CS3
• JavaScript
• Java and Asp basic understanding (for integration with backend technology teams).
• Worked with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Design and Application testing.
• Understanding of usability best practices and conducting usability tests on projects and components of the website and devices.
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization.

Experience:
• Extensive website design and development experience and knowledge,6-7 years
• Development of online strategies and implementation thereof, 4-5 years
• Degree or relevant tertiary business qualification
• Usability experience testing, 4-5 years
• General line and project management, 5-6 years
