One of our clients, a leader in the Short Term Insurance industry, is seeking a Head of Risk and Compliance to join their offices located in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating; embedding, monitoring and reporting (within the 1st Line of Defence) on the Operations Division’s compliance to the company's Governance, Risk and Compliance framework.

Requirements:

Relevant Honours degree in Commerce, Information Systems, or Risk Management
Professional qualification (CISA, CISM) will be an advantage
5 years’ experience in audit, compliance and risk
Working experience of Corporate Governance codes of good practices
Previous work experience within the Short Term Insurance industry is advantageous
