Our client, a leading Environmental management Company based in Pretoria (Rosslyn) requires an organised individual with the ability to work well under pressure to occupy the role of a Health and Safety Administrator. The successful candidate will be required to provide SHEQ administrative support to the SHEQ team.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Assist with the updating of Site SHEQ files
  • Accurate database management onto ISOMetrix
  • Follow up on outstanding actions on ISOMetrix
  • Gathering of SHEQ data for reporting purposes

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • General office administration
  • Weekly preparation of consolidated accidents incidents reports
  • Capture Audit findings and ensure that items are actioned
  • Prepare & maintain monthly reports and schedules
  • Data capturing
  • Maintain Risk Assessment database
  • Contractor and Subcontractor database management
  • Maintain Contractor and Subcontractor files
  • Attend SHEQ meetings and take minutes
  • Follow up on actions from meetings
  • Assist with compilation of client safety files
  • Assist with populating the SHEQ component of tender documents
  • Assist with audit preparations
  • ISOMetrix support
  • Maintain legal appointment database in region
  • Prepare presentations with stats for weekly management meetings
  • Any other reasonable job instruction

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • Minimum of 3 years SHEQ administration experience
  • Good communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills (Advanced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
