MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, as a Health Care Consultant providing a service to clients on Medical Aid Schemes, benefits and administration
• Knowledge of various Medical Aid Schemes offered in the Financial Services industry
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and listening)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans – a third language will be an added advantage (Zulu, Xhosa and or Sotho)
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong analytical and administrative skills
• Confident and Resourceful
• Rapport building (The ability to meet people easily and to be liked, to get along well with people and to put them at ease: to quickly build rapport through pro-active development of relationships)
• Calm and methodical and cope well under pressure
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Client Service orientated
• High work ethics and standards
• Professional and friendly disposition
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
DUTIES AND FUNCTION:
• Building and maintenance of relationships with existing companies as well as sourcing of new business via corporate and individual markets.
• New business development.
• Provide client with feedback.
• Having a strong level of knowledge of all products and services provided by the various Medical Aid Companies.
• Resolving customer / member queries.
• Providing admin support to clients/members.
• Providing advice and quotations.
• General administration
• Monthly reporting
• Induction sessions
• Annual meetings and presentations for new medical aid requirements and health plans
• Assisting with Employee benefit consulting services as and when required.
