Health Care Sales Representative East Rand & Mpumalanga

Company Head Office: Pretoria

Package: Salary: R24000, Car Allowance: R7500, Fuel & Toll for business use
Company cell phone with data, Commission, Discovery Heath (50%), Retirement Savings (7.5% of salary contributed by both)

Purpose of the position; Sales Representative selling products and services on the East Rand and Mpumalanga. The customers include Private Hospital Groups, Private Facilities as well as Public Hospitals and Facilities, but not limited to these.
The position is available immediately.

Duties:
Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
• Achieving sales targets
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
• Building relationship with potential customers for developing new business and analysing needs
• Sales reporting on activities, planners, rolling forecasts, competitors info, market share, install base and database maintenance
• Frequent assessments in all wards of hospitals and other medical facilities (Foam, Pressure Injury Prevalence, Beds, Patient Handling, Hygiene, etc)
• Frequent demonstrations to end-users to create demand.
• Commissioning (installation of products) at customers
• In-service training on all products sold, bearing in mind shift changes of hospital staff
• Providing customers with solutions
• Providing feedback on future buying trends
• Representing the company at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
• Liaising with operations department to check on the progress of existing orders
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge
• Frequent travel in Mpumalanga
Administrative Duties
• Recording sales and order information and doing analysis
• Maintaining and communicating weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcome and/or actions to follow up on
• Forecasting

Skills and qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Qualifications
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be preferred

Requirements
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry, with proven success in both Public – and Private Sector in selling capital equipment/furniture.
• People person

• Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
• Ability to work independently
• Available outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirements
