An opportunity has arisen to be part of a leading IT Company in Cape Town. We are a young, dynamic team, and are looking to recruit a hardworking, energetic new member.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, have good problem solving skills, have a positive client-friendly attitude, the ability to work under pressure - both solo and within a team environment.
The Required Duties are:-
- Managing all incoming IT Support calls and assisting clients with technical support telephonically
- Mailbox setup and support
- ADSL support
- Adding printers
- Assisting clients via remote desktop
- Replying to all support tickets
- Regular follow ups with technicians and updating support tickets
- Capture onsite work done by technicians and time allocations in support systems
- Proactively update clients with support status updates as necessary
- Call/email all clients confirmation prior to closing support tickets
- Ensure all support conducted in line with Standard Operation Procedures. (SOP)
- Ensure all unresolved support tickets are escalated in line with SOP’s
Minimum Requirements:-
- Matric and IT qualification (minimum A+ and N+)
- Recent and significant experience of working in an IT help desk / First line support environment (minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar field)
- Proficient with Windows OS, Mac and Office packages
