Helpdesk Officer / Junior Developer

Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town
Salary: R15k – R18k per month

Purpose of the Role:
To provide technical advice and support to clients with regard to network and systems.

Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating systems and development languages (Cold Fusion/Java Script, SQL and .Net applications)
Ability to develop, implement and test complex applications software
Ability to record, tract and document resolutions
Analytical and numerical skills
Exposure and/or experience in the development of documentation/manuals for training, user procedures, system specifications
Excellent project management, planning, organizing and time management skills
Business acumen and action orientated
Advanced administrative and problem-solving skills
Sound communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
Technical aptitude
Sound interpersonal skills
A valid code EB driver’s license
A positive, energetic, patient, tolerant and professional individual

Duties:
Research, plan, troubleshoot and maintenance of the system.
Assistance with database administration, specifications and development.
System and user support
Hardware-, software- and database maintenance
System specifications and basic -development
End-user training
