HOD: Financial Services:

Location: Mpumalanga
Salary: R 1.4 Mil - R 1.2 Mil

Thrilling position available for a Manager of Financial Services situated in Mpumalanga, for a large mining company in South Africa.

To become the ideal candidate you will have to have:
• CA (SA) / MBA
• B Com Degree
• Articles in Accountancy
• 5 years Operational Financial Accounting experience in a mining environment
• 3 years Operational Statutory and Legal Compliance experience
• 5 years Financial Management experience in a mining environment

The candidate will be expected to perform various tasks such as;
• Compile and implement the Finance strategy including IT and Supply Chain.
• Ensure strategies meet mine requirements and compliance.
• Develop business plan presentation and present to the boards.
• Align strategic supply contracts to ensure low business interruption.
• Sign-off Financial, IT and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
• Authorize and take accountability for the business plan process.
• Oversee all internal and external financial reporting.
• Identify and maintain significant financial risks in a dynamic environment
• Ensure compliance to IFRS and corporate governance.
• Oversee housekeeping principles are adhered to within the Finance department.
