Kendrick Recruitment has an exciting new role available for a top-notch Hospitality Manager!The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the profitable management and maintenance of the function venues at a Franschhoek wine estate. Key Outputs:-Organizing and managing events-Promotion of the venue as a choice for weddings and functions-Planning and managing catering on site-Development and execution of business/financial plans for this unit and management and leadership of their different teams;-Sourcing and controlling all stock-Quality management and general administration.-Planning and arranging of inbound tours and visits of the company’s customers and clientsRequirements:? Academic Hospitality/Events Management training which should be supported by several years experience in the planning, budgeting, organising and managing of events and a strong customer service orientation? Financial and business acumen? Excellent communication skills at all levels, in both English and Afrikaans? Team management skills? The ability to work independently, to meet tight deadlines and to cope under pressure? Mobility and availability to work outside normal working hours? Computer literacyThe salary on offer is up to R 30 000 a month, depending on qualifications and experience.
