Hospitality Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and promoting the dynamic Leopard’s Leap tourist destination near Franschhoek. It involves the initiation, management and marketing of the Leopard’s Leap Food-and-Wine experience. Responsibilities also comprise management of the facilities,co-ordination of special functions, representation of the Leopard’s Leap brand in the tourist industry, liaison with guests, clients and service providers, as well as relevant budget management. Compliance with the following criteria is required: • leadership
skills and excellent organisational ability • an appropriate tertiary qualification • at least five years’ appropriate experience (management, marketing and public relations experience will be in candidates’ favour) • excellent communication skills and command of Afrikaans and English • thorough knowledge of wine and the S.A. wine industry • a passion for food and wine • computer literacy • a professional appearance and the ability
to add to guests’ enjoyment of their Leopard’s Leap Experience • willingness to accept working hours as associated with the hospitality industry.
