Our client is Durban Northern Suburbs area, is looking to expand their team! As a Hosting Installations Engineer in the Cloud â?? Client Services team in Durban, you will be responsible for rolling out (Installation and configuration) of various new hosting and security solutions.

What we will expect you to do: 

• Deployment of Microsoft Windows Server products, Internet Information Server, SQL, Linux, Mail Marshall, Radware, Firewalls, Back-up Software on servers, VMware and Cisco switching and routing.
• Role also includes some technical documentation writing and a portion of this position is client liaison, both verbally, electronically and face-to-face with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• This role requires a well-spoken, confident individual who is well-presented at all times. Position also requires after-hours work to be done.

Here’s what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

Key requirements:

• An IT degree/diploma or relevant certification (CCNA, CCNP or complete writing exam in BCMSN and BSCI. Minimum requirement is MCSE, Linux skills and VMware knowledge.
• At least 2 years’ experience rolling out Windows products and Linux server in a high volume environment. Firewall, Cisco Switching and routing skills would be beneficial.
• The candidate should have configuration skills and working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, computer network architecture, routing and protocols, specifically TCP/IP
