Experience:

Must have a Hotel Management Diploma.
5 - years’ experience in Hotel Operation.
Must have extensive training experience.

Experience: Hotel Management or Advanced Chefs Diploma.
5 - years’ experience in Hotel Operation.
Must have extensive training experience.
Must be familiar with the implementation of Standard Operating procedures
and Quality assurance within the hotel environment and kitchen.
Pastry Chef experience and knowledge will be an advantage.

Must have experience and knowledge of all aspects regarding the kitchen.
Must have extensive experience in menu planning and food costing.
Must be able to develop and monitor Standard Operating procedures with the
co-operation of the Head Chef and management.
Must be able to assist the General Manger and Head Chef with implementation of
the Quality Management Systems within the Hotel.
Must be able to implement and conduct On-the-job training in the kitchen as
per the industry program and as per the Head Chef or General Manager’s
requirements.
Must assist and conduct training in accordance with the needs analysis and
requirements of the Head Chef and General Manager.
Must be able to fulfil duties as training Duty manager when required to do so.
Must be able to assist kitchen management in the assessment of employees
competencies in the kitchen and provide on–the-job support where necessary.
Must be able to assist kitchen management with the compilation of career and
succession planning for all employees.
Must assist with the theoretical as well as practical assessment of staff and chef
students as well as the placement of students where necessary.
Must be able to compile a reporting budget in field of expertise.
Good communication and leadership skills are essential.

Salary R 20.000.00 - R25000.00. Medical Aid & Retirement Fund
