APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Gr 12 + tertiary hospitality qualification
• Min 2 – 4 years previous housekeeping experience gained at an upmarket establishment
• Strong staff management- & training background
• Stable work track record
• Excellent references
• Valid drivers license + own reliable transport

KPA’S
• Responsible for the general cleanliness of the assigned of the areas, including Office, Reception, Pool bathrooms and Function Room bathrooms.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and procedures within the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure that all paperwork assigned to this position is completed and submitted in a timely manner to the General Manager.
• Responsible for all Housekeeping equipment.
• Responsible for all operational related training for all team members and make sure staff comply this training in the workplace.
• Responsible for the implementation of cleaning schedules for all areas and follow-up.
• Perform other duties as directed by the General Manger.
• Allocate rooms to Housekeepers.
• Ensure the neatness of the Linen and Laundry Room.
• Receive clean linen from Dhobi and issue dirty linen. Ensure all records have been completed regarding receiving and issue laundry; File accordingly.
• Conductdaily room checks and complete checklist.
• Do monthly stocktakes of room amenities and appliances.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department.
• Wash guest laundry and communicate with reception to charge – Allocate in the guest Laundry File.
• Liaise with the F&B Department regarding Restaurant Linen.
• Invoices (Housekeeping Daily Invoices File)
• Linen Count Documentation – Food and Beverage including Housekeeping – (F&B and Housekeeping Daily Laundry Issues File)
• Responsible for induction and training of all new staff in Housekeeping Department.
• Responsible for probation review process of the new Housekeeping staff.
• Responsible for performance management of Housekeeping Staff.
• Train all staff on the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Be aware of all fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Perform daily briefing with all Housekeeping staff (between 08:00 – 08:30)
