Housekeeping Manager.

High - End Prestigious coastal Estate situated by the Mediterranean Sea - Libya.

The Housekeeping Manager is in charge of all the housekeeping services in the commercial and common areas, site cleaning, & waste management.

Inventory management of the residential units will also be a responsibility , as well as substituting for the Residential Services Manager

when the responsible person in this office is on leave. All in all, the Housekeeping Manager is a key element of the service provision.

Hospitality degree preferred (Minimum BS level or equivalent).

Vocational qualifications in a related subject may be considered.

Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in resort management or property management highly regarded.

Experience of working in Arabic cultures highly desirable but not essential.

Having a strong hospitality background or being well experienced in resort operations, the successful candidate would be a strong organizer with an eye for detail

as befits a high-quality service. Able to schedule his/her workforce to the ongoing requirements, he/she will nevertheless be a good manager to ensure that the cleaning

subcontractor turnover is kept to the minimum possible and advocate for a strong team ethic.

The post holder should be technologically savvy, of strong character and grit, able to manage and turn out a consistently high quality and detailed cleaning service

and have a high level of report writing in English (including fluent spoken English).

The successful candidate must be fit, overall well presented and ideally a highly social person.

Working after office hours may be regularly required.

Previous related experience should be well demonstrated. Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus but is not essential.

Salary R 40 000 ( Euro 2.5000 ) NETT - including studio accommodation & company benefits

Performance bonus of 10% of annual salary, subject to company’s performance;

2 year contract, renewable; 4 month probation period; 30 days of paid leave per year, 6 day week (Friday off).

Typically 1 paid ticket per annum to S. Africa - negotiable
