HP Service Manager & UCMDB Consultant
Contract: 6 months. Exp: 6+ years. Start: Immediate. Rate: R288 per hour. Must have: Telecoms experience.
* Should be pro-active with analytical, problem solving, decision making, good communication and inter-personal skills
* Should have good knowledge on
1. Service Desk Management
2. Incident Management
3. Change Management
4. Service Level Management
* Should be adept in tools : HP Service Manager 7.1 & 9.3X, HP Network Node Manager 9.1, HP Operations Manager 9.0, UCMDB, HP Performance Insight 5.41, Service now,
1. Integration knowledge between Exchange Server and HPSM through Connect - IT.
2. Integration knowledge on HP OMi – HPSM
3. Integration of LDAP with SM.
4. Integration with BMC and IBM monitoring tools.
5. Customizing Formats, Format Control, Links, Display Option, Process, States, wizards, triggers, menu etc, to solve any technical issues/ concerns relating to HP Service Manager modules, HP NNMi, HP OM and related integrations
* As the resource would be working on HP SM, he/she should have worked extensively on multiple modules of the tool.
1. Should have worked extensively on multiple modules of the tool.
2. Configure User roles, menus & profiles as per the user requirements.
3. Configuration of CTIP's.
4. Configuration of Assignment Groups, Support Matrix Services.
5. Create user access for HP Service Manager.
6. Configuration of the modules according to the client requirements.
7. To work on form designer, Format Control, Java Script, Display Options, Dbdict etc.
8. Integration of LDAP with SM.
9. Integration of NNMi with SM.
10. Troubleshooting Issues.
11. To work on the interactions and incidents assigned to HP SM support group.

1. Installation of NNMi
2. Discovery of Network
3. Node Addition/Deletion
4. SNMP Configuration
5. Events configuration and fine tuning of events
6. Loading of MIBs and configuring events
7. Setting snmp and ICMP polling frequencies
8. Suppression/Enrichment/email triggering of events
9. User creations and assigning privileges
10. Creation of Node groups/creating Node groups maps
11. Installation of iSPI's and Integration of iSPI's with NNM
12. Scheduling of reports (Weekly, monthly) and emailing triggering
13. Integration of NNMi and OM
14. NNMI Health checks
15. Troubleshooting Issues
