HPLC Support Chemist (Service Engineer) (G458)
*BSc (Chemistry) or higher and aptitude for analytical equipment. Driver’s license essential. HPLC experience would be advantageous*

Location: Johannesburg

Description: A vendor of high end analytical equipment requires a service engineer for HPLC and related analytical equipment. The successful candidate will be required to carry out installation of new systems at client sites as well as maintenance of existing equipment and assisting clients with troubleshooting. The successful candidate will also be required to be able to carry out IQ and OQ/PV’s. Depending on the successful candidate’s aptitude the position may also involve some applications and assisting clients with method development.

Key Requirements: BSc (Chemistry) or higher and aptitude for analytical equipment. Driver’s license essential. HPLC experience would be advantageous as would electronics experience.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently; client focused; excellent problem solving skills; well presented; good communication skills.
Remuneration: Market related and dependent on qualifications and experience
