JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Co-ordinate, support and administer general training functions and render specific administrative support to internal and external customers.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Responsible for the co-ordination and administration of employee training and skills development
• Ensures the implementation of all coaching and mentoring processes
• Ensures full compliance regarding all statutory and legislative requirements
• Responsible for the provision of an effective HR Administration and Support function
• Responsible for the collation and production of monthly and ad hoc reports pertaining to training activities
• Provide assistance in the implementation and administration of all Transformation and BBBEE processes
• Update and maintain the MQA Database – I Share.
• Register Unit Standards
• Liaise with MQA regarding new qualification and deregister old unit standards
• Nominated to be on the Standard Generation Board
• Ensure that all Learnership Contracts is in place and signed.
• Ensure that all Apprenticeship Contracts is in place and signed with the MERSETA.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Relevant HR qualification

EXPERIENCE:
• Related work experience (other jobs that prepared you for this job).
• Other HR knowledge including Recruitment will be an advantage.
• Experience working on the SAP system will be an advantage.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels within the organisation
• Meticulous, detailed, well-organized and able to work independently to meet datelines
