Do you have a completed HR qualification, working experience within a unionised company and a passion for people? If you can multitask and think on your feet, love administration and assisting people at all levels then this position is for you! A manufacturing concern in the upper highway area is seeking a HR Administrator to manage two regions with 6 branches between the two.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
•Ensure all new wage and salary staff are properly inducted;
•All wages and payroll administration and paperwork for salary and wage employee files;
•Performance reviews;
•Coordinate all Provident Fund paperwork and queries;
•Assist staff with ad hoc queries (EIMAS, Funeral Cover, Medical Aid etc);
•Recruiting of wage and salaried positions as required;
•IR related functions (disciplinary warning letters, dismissals etc);
•Coordinate all staff events and wellness days;
•Coordinate all employee and employee’s children’s bursary applications and files; Completing of weekly and monthly reports;
•Assisting line managers with Discipline and performance counselling;
•Ensuring on-the-job training is completed and paperwork is on file for all wage employees;
•Coaching and mentoring for supervisors and team leaders;
•Partnering the Training Coordinator to ensure full attendance of training by staff,
•All HR and related functions and paperwork.

Minimum Requirements:

•Matric plus completed HR Diploma or Degree
•Excellent computer skills, strong Excel knowledge & VIP Payroll preferably
•Ability to multi task and work quickly and accurately
•Comfortable enforcing policies and discipline when needed
•People’s person
•Experience working within a unionized company (i.e.NUMSA)
•Communicating with Executives
