Key Responsibilities:
• Generate employee contracts and addendums (based on templates)
• Facilitate staff surveys
• Conduct credit and criminal record checks and manage associated adverse record remediation work
• Provide confirmation of employment
• Manage the company’s AWOL process to help reduce absence and attrition
• Compile reports including AWOL and excess leave
• Upload, maintain and audit employee records
• Respond to employee queries addressed to HR
• Conduct regular audits and implement appropriate checking mechanisms and quality controls

Experience:
• 2+ years of HR shared services experience in a sizeable organization, or professional services environment
• Matric, preferably with a tertiary qualification

Skills:
• Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team whilst taking ownership and accountability
• Ability to safeguard and maintain confidentiality
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic IT skills or ability to learn IT
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
