Reporting directly to the HR Managers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• National Diploma in HR.
• 2 – 4 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA, EE, SARS, UIF etc.)
• Working knowledge & experience of MS Office and Sage VIP Payroll (PP and PHR).
• Experience on Proman will be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisational and admin skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet changing deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• A performance orientation.
• Customer focused.
• Ability to follow-through.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Selection; Skills Development; Bursaries, Graduate Employment
• Assist with collation of applications; scheduling of interviews; preparation of interview packs; etc.
• Update the training schedule and file the training forms with supporting documentation as required for WSP and ATR submissions.
• Assist with the bursary and graduate recruitment application process.
• Assist with the monitoring of costs for the Fund and internal and external bursaries.
• Process purchase orders for various payments.
Payroll
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for approx. 220 employees including all related tasks;
o Reconciliations and payments to 3rd parties (Pension, Medical Aid, Short-term Insurances, etc.)
o Monthly and annual submission of statutory returns including but not limited to EEA2, EEA4, Emp201, Emp501, UIF declarations, COID RoE, StatsSA etc.
• Responsible for staff engagement and termination processing on Proman, HR and Payroll systems (SA and cross-border)
• Administration of leave records.
• Assist with corporate travel insurance applications.
• Assist with annual salary revision process
General
• Adhere to company policies and procedures in the execution of tasks.
• Ensure that queries are resolved timeously.
• Collate documents for annual QMS and BEE Audits.
• Custodian of personal files and confidential records.
• Assist with HR related updates on SharePoint (training courses, documents, announcements, etc.).
• Filing and general office administration.
• Maintain internal / external stakeholder relationships
• Compile and submit monthly reports.
• Adhoc tasks.
