Job Description:

Preparation and administration of Engagement Packs upon appointment of new employees
Preparation (in consultation with HR team member where relevant) and administration of all HR related communication (employment contracts, letters to employees, learnerships, job descriptions etc)
Prepare information for management and other HR related reporting (HR statistics, employment equity, progress against BBBEE objectives etc)
Assist with the coordination of Induction Programmes
Administer work permit applications related to appointments and employee transfers
Update and maintain HR related elements on information system for BBBEE reporting purposes
Assist with the preparation and organizing of annual BBBEE Audits
Process and administer all HR related payments and monitor against HR budget
Assist with the preparation and submission of HR related surveys (remuneration, benefits)
Processing and maintaining HR related information on HRIS (training, disciplinary hearings, transfers, promotions, terminations etc etc etc)
Prepare, administer and submit monthly HR input to Payroll (new engagements, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments, promotions etc)
Prepare, maintain and communicate Organizational Charts monthly
Update and maintain all HR related documentation (templates, policies & procedures) as instructed
Identify and facilitate improvements to HR processes and propose solutions to create greater efficiencies such as automation etc
Process staff movements through IT Portal and communicate to all relevant departments to ensure proactive and timeous preparation of all systems/equipment prior to any movements
Preparation of HR related communication such as Announcements (locally and Internationally where relevant) and other
Assist with the administration and communication on matters related to the FASCO Empowerment Trust
Maintain/develop and administer HR record-keeping
Arrange and coordinate HR Team Meetings, Employment Equity & Skills Development Forum Meetings, Quarterly Retirement Fund Meetings etc and ensure that all logistics are covered (IT, Telecoms, Venue Arrangements, Agenda's etc) as instructed
Assist in preparing and updating HR Annual Calendar
Continuous professional development within the HR field

Qualifications:

An accredited HR Qualification (NQF5) will be advantageous
Minimum 2 years experience as an HR Assistant with a sound understanding of legislation relevant to HR (BCEA, LRA, EEA & SD etc), SAGE People HR Modules (Incl Skills) will be advantageous, MS Office - Intermediate Level
