HR Business Partner / Company Secretary Nelspruit R 13 000 Gross Per Month (CTC) Permanent Security Industry Closing date: 30th January 2017

Our client is looking for an HR Business Partner / Company Secretary in Nelspruit.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant HR degree or diploma
  • 3+ years relevant working experience in the HR field
  • Must be Computer literate
  • Valid Driver’s license will be preferable

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be in charge of the human resources department and oversea and mentor the office of the HR Executive

 

HR Related:           

  • Advises and educate line management and staff on the application of HR policies and procedures to ensure the correct and consistent implementation of all HR processes and systems and compliance to legislation
  • Oversees, applies and participates in recruitment and selection procedures to ensure that vacancies are filled timeously with the best qualified candidate in terms of the job requirements and in compliance with policies
  • Coordinates, participates and advises on the correct application of disciplinary and grievance procedures to ensure the correct handling of such matters in terms of policy and legislation
  • Attend Disciplinary Hearings and CCMA Cases as required
  • Participates in the development of HR and Employee Relations policies and procedures as part of the broader HR team to ensure that the Company has an up to date HR policy framework that complies with relevant labour and other legislation
  • Oversees the implementation of an employment equity plan for the Company that promotes the transformation of the organisation in line with company policy and objectives and in compliance with relevant legislation
  • Prepares monthly HR and Employee Relations Management reports on identified risks, challenges, progress and statistics for submission to the HR Services Supervisor in order to identify trends on various issues and / or recommend corrective actions
  • Conducts presentations at induction sessions to orientate new employees to ensure that they are familiar with policies and procedures pertaining to HR and Employee Relations matters.
  • Oversees the Training Schedule and collates the attendance registers etc.
  • Assist with Pay Queries and Ad Hoc Queries

 

Company Secretary Related:

  • Convening and servicing all board-, management and other internal/external official meetings e.g. Board- and Fincom (producing agendas, taking minutes; conveying decisions etc.)
  • Providing support to committees and working parties such as the Board of Directors etc.
  • implementing procedural/administrative systems
  • handling correspondence before and after meetings
  • ensuring policies are kept current, are approved, and that company members are aware of their implications, eg legal
  • writing reports
  • collating information
  • providing legal/financial advice during and outside of meetings.
  • Managing office space
  • dealing with company/staff insurance policies
  • managing contractual arrangements with suppliers/customers
  • financial and HR administration
  • maintaining current awareness about company law
  • keeping a register of shareholders and liaising with them on behalf of the company.
