Leading pharmaceutical company seeks a suitably qualified and experienced HR Business Partner to join their dynamic team!

Minimum Requirements:
• A Grade 12 qualification
• 3 year HR Diploma/ Degree
• Sound understanding of BCEA, Legislation governing HR
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• VIP Premier Payroll and HR systems experience.
• Time and Attendance systems knowledge.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid, work experience in human resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of project management and organizational skills
• Superior interpersonal and relationship skills
• Ability to resolve conflict and motivate.
• High level of emotional intelligence and ability to communicate on all different levels.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Analytical thinker with innovation.
• Able to start ASAP

Duties / Responsibilities:
• Ensure that fair recruitment is followed in line with procedure and legal requirements
• Prepare all related documentation for new employees
• Prepare employees for the induction process and ensure that the induction process is conducted
• Prepare recruitment report for HR manager’s
• Update job descriptions as and when required
• Participate in the evaluation of current and new positions according to the Paterson grading method
• Be informed and updated on the subject matter of grading and provide advise
• Follow up on the IPA process in line with policy and procedure
• Update and make recommendations for changes if need be to the process.
• Ensure positive outcomes of labour related disputes referred to the CCMA by assisting with investigations and training of supervisors and managers
• Provide advice on and administer the disciplinary code, policy and procedures
• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with UNION
• Keep abreast of current trends and ensure that procedures are update with legislation
• Ensure that the EE SD committee fulfill responsibilities and functions
• Ensure that the site fulfils requirements in terms of EE section 19 analysis
• Ensure that section 20 of the EE Act is adhered to in all recruitment process
• Ensure that you are keeping abreast of all employment equity trends
• Comply with SD legislation and SETA requirements
• Action at least 80% of the WSP
• Co-ordinate training activities according to Training needs analysis of each department
• Maximise grant recovery from SETA
• Monthly reports on ROI of training is sent to HR manager
• Ensure that all HR policies are current and available to staff
• Initiate and maintain constant and effective communication managers regarding matters affecting them and HR related
• Ensure that you remain an expert on all HR policies and are able to consult and advise
• Ensure that all information accepted into the HR department is aligned to HR policy
• Able to provide advice on all benefits offered by the company such as provident and medical aid options
• All wellness options are advised upon by HR including ICAS
