Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a HR Business Partner.

Main Purpose of Job
To enable business in delivering its objectives through the provision of ALL HR services and support to all employees and line managers in line with both the Business and HR Strategies. ALL HR services refers to total employment cycle

Role Key Responsibilities
• Attend to and advise Line Managers on all HR/ER matters arising with particular reference to relationships, wellbeing, engagement, behaviour and performance, while assisting Line Managers in solving these.
• Provide day –to –day on the job and off the job advice and support to employees and line managers on Company policies, practices and procedures while ensuring consistent application across business.
• Participate in business meetings to stay close with business developments and employees in order to understand potential workplace issues and proactively provide corrective actions.
• Drive HR related meetings and interactions as a business partner in all areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for the entire process of setting up and coordination of disciplinary and grievance hearings and form partnership with the on-site Unions to ensure prevention of potential issues. Represent the Business at CCMA if need be.
• Responsible for the compilation of periodic, statistical and project reports in areas of responsibility.
• Facilitate the entire recruitment and selection process in line with the Group Recruitment Policy including employee on-boarding process.
• Drive transformation activities in line with the Group transformation policy and agenda.
• Contribute in the development of the Group HR Strategy and ensure efficient and effective implementation thereof.
• Ensure efficient delivery of the HR activity grid.
• Stay abreast of Collective Bargaining matters and developments.
• Deliver on specific projects as and when required.

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years continuous job experience in an HR generalist role with at least 1-3 years management experience with exposure to HR IT systems
