HR Consultant: Training

We are looking for an energetic Learning Practitioner to join our fast-paced environment. Use your passion for the learning process and your experience in adult learning to support and drive our vision to develop an empowering learning culture within the Telemarketing and Marketing Divisions.

Your responsibilities will include:
Talent Management: Assisting in the identification of training needs and creating & managing the subsequent training plan.
New Starter Training: Facilitate new starter training for all contact centre staff
Programme Design and Development: Design and develop training programmes
Evaluation: Evaluation of own practice and measuring the return on investment of training interventions post-implementation
Administration: Logistical arrangements, course invitations and all training related administration; including learner records
Reporting: Daily, weekly and monthly training reports & assessment reporting submitted as per the agreed timeframes
Delivers Training Interventions: Delivery of training, coaching and mentoring interventions
Assessments & Moderation: Formative and summative assessments conducted within agreed timeframes per intervention; post-assessment feedback provided to Line where appropriate

The requirements are:
OD-ETDP, Level 5 is essential
A relevant HR qualification
Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential
2 years facilitation experience, with adult learners in a corporate environment
Knowledge of and insight into adult learning principles
Knowledge of legislation related to the financial services industry would be advantageous [FAIS, CPA, NCA, TCF]
Proven experience within a training and facilitation environment, with a focus on telesales
Ability to manage a varied and complex agenda on a daily basis and determination to deliver against tight deadlines
Experience in designing training material
Knowledge of different training methodologies. Examples: E-learning and/or visual/auditory techniques
A strong team-orientation with the ability to use own initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills
High attention to detail
High resilience and emotional competence
Strong work ethic, coupled with a passion for learning and development
