HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

This position is for an HR Generalist, who has at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a related retail environment, and who is able to travel and work in a very pressurised and deadline driven environment.

The position is based at the Regional Offices in Sandton, but the incumbent would be expected to travel between stores daily.

PREREQUISITES

• A Human Resources or related degree or diploma (3 year qualification)
• At least three years’ experience working in a clothing retail HR environment in an HR Generalist position.
• Experience in a retail HR environment essential
• Drivers Licence

FUNCTIONS

• Serve in a consultative function to all Store Managers and Ops Managers.
• Advise in terms of discipline and performance management
• Selection and Recruitment
• Staff Development
• Succession Planning
• Staff Welfare
• Staff Motivation and culture & morale building

REPORTING STRUCTURE

• Would report directly to the Regional HR Manager.
• Will work closely with HR and Operations team within the region.

GENERAL

• Would be required to travel to out of town stores and overnight.
• Would be required to travel to local stores on a daily basis.

Salary negotiable depending on experience
