HR Generalist (W334)
* HR Degree / Diploma; 5 - 10 years’ experience in HR with full HR Functional Area; 2-3 years’ experience managing of a Human Resources Department / Functional Area; 2-3 years’ experience dealing with Shop Stewards and Regional Office Union Level; 2-3 years’ experience in MEIBC environment; 1-2 years’ experience in project management "Internal Projects"; Accsys System and valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle. *
Location: Cape Winelands, Western Cape
Description: An engineering company located 180kms from Cape Town is in search of a HR Generalist to join their team. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be to: implementation of the HR Micro Strategy through identified key project deliverables; ensure that policies and procedures are consistently applied in the CTE Entity; effective and auditable Human Resources administration of the full HR Value Chain; upkeep of HR Share-drive and Files (HR and Employee Files); workforce planning, labour requirement identification, recruitment, training schemes, succession planning; management of the Site Induction; develop and maintain job profiles; effective skills gap analysis and identification of training and development needs; Chairing of the Employment Equity & Training Committee Meetings, implementing, monitoring and reporting on the Employment Equity Plan, Works kills Plan and Annual Training Report; Implementation, guidance and management of the performance management process on site for inclusion on group level; grading of staff; guiding and managing the disciplinary and grievance procedures on site; management of the time and attendance accsys system module on Site (Monitoring, Reporting, and authorisation of hours on a daily basis); managing the monthly input (New, Discharge Employees and Status Changes) for compliance and correctness for monthly submission to Accsys; Managing the correctness of data in Accsys for reporting purposes (Personal, Occupation, Training, etc.); Generation of reports and providing analysis on HR statistics (i.e. Labour Efficiency, Staff Turnover, EE, Absentiseem, etc.); reporting and presenting monthly at the site management, operational meetings & staff open forums and provide guidance to, training of and manage the performance of the HR Team on Site.
Key Requirements: HR Degree / Diploma; 5 - 10 years’ experience in HR with full HR Functional Area; 2-3 years’ experience managing of a Human Resources Department / Functional Area; 2-3 years’ experience dealing with Shop Stewards and Regional Office Union Level; 2-3 years’ experience in MEIBC environment; 1-2 years’ experience in project management "Internal Projects"; Accsys System and valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
Additional Requirements: Good communication and presentation skills; Microsoft Office (Word Advanced, Excel Advanced, PowerPoint Advanced, Projects Intermediate); Legislation (LRA, BCOE, MEIBC, EEA, UIF, etc. related to HR ); External Stakeholders Reporting and administration.
Remuneration: R285 000 cost to company per annum
Starting date: As soon as possible.
