Would YOU LOVE to gain exposure to Remuneration & Reward practices whilst providing an administrative and junior project administration support function under the direction of Dr Mark Bussin, a widely recognized and highly respected thought leader in the remuneration arena?

YOU will report to and work under the direction of Dr Bussin, Chairman of a prestigious and leading Consultancy in Africa who holds a Doctorate in Commerce, has presented over 150 articles and papers and received awards for his outstanding contribution in this field. He is also a guest lecturer at a number of prestigious academic institutions which will provide you with the opportunity to interact with and provide assistance and support to Honours, Masters and Doctoral students.

Our client is offering a full-time position on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Full training, mentoring and coaching will be provided. Study leave will be taken into consideration.

You will be based in Athol and/or at the offices of the Company or the offices of a client where this is provided. You will also have the flexibility to work from home from time to time.

Start date: August 2015 or sooner. Package offered: R8500.00 CTC per month.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
• Matric/Grade 12 with English on HG and a minimum achievement of a B symbol
• B Comm or BA Ind Psych and preferably studying towards Hons part time
• Previous administrative experience
• Previous exposure to working within an educational/academic environment - WILL BE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE
• MS Office proficiency with strong MS Excel skills
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license - ESSENTIA. Please do not apply for this role unless you are in possession of a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Assist with remuneration consulting including drafting of Remuneration policies, pay scale structuring and compa-ratio analysis;
• Manage, control and collate reports and all relevant documentation;
• Provide effective administration and Personal Assistant duties to the Chairman including diary management on MS Outlook;
• Schedule and arrange meetings, appointments and conferences which includes co-ordinating travel and accommodation bookings;
• Create and prepare Powerpoint presentations for meetings, conferences and lectures;
• Assist with the formulation of exams, semester tests and assignment papers;
• Supervise and support Honours students during exams;
• Provide assistance to Masters and Doctoral students by providing research and peer reviewed journal articles;
• Proof read articles for publication in various media;
• Provide project administration support on an ad hoc basis;
• Conduct research to gather information on projects as directed through the internet, publications and previous reports.
