Job Title: Africa HR Manager - Johannesburg, Edenvale
Industrial Sector

Salary: R800k – R1mil TCTC per annum

Required Education Level or Equivalent Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business - MBA will be considered a plus;
• Fluent knowledge of English;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Regional HR position;
• Eligible to improve / maintain South African Subsidiary BEE status

Mission:
• Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and development of the programs, plans, policies, procedures and practices covering Human Resources in the assigned Africa Region with the aim to support the achievement of the organization’s business goals;
• Provide to the assigned organizations the leadership, expertise and operational support on all
matters involving people, in order to diffuse ethic principles, to ensure Group values
implementation in and to guarantee a satisfying and empowering working environment.
• To check and assess the respect of the Compliance to any Local Labour Laws, as well the respect of the Group and Division set of procedures.
• To develop, manage and support BEE requirements in the Subsidiaries awarded by this status.
• To recruit / develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce, to accomplish the organizational goals in all the African Countries.

• Ethical approach and high morality
• Reasonable knowledge of Local Labour Laws;
• Knowledge of Organization principles, HR processes (assessment process, compensation process, selection and recruiting process, training process, etc.) and procedures;
• Strong capacity in Managing Resources;
• Strong leadership & people management skills
• Strong international networking skills
• Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices
• Knowledge of H&S standards
• Capability to drive continuous improvement and, in case, to manage restructuring procedures;
• Knowledge in developing and maintaining BEE status/qualification (where required)
• Highly developed negotiation, influencing and consultative skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong ability in Cost Controlling and Cost forecasting (Budgeting process, etc.)
• Direct knowledge of African Countries (other than South Africa)
