Reporting To:                                    Chief Operations Officer
Location:                                            Johannesburg 
Background
 Our client (NGO) is recruiting a part time HR Manager to be based in Johannesburg (head office). The HR Manager will report to the Chief Operations Officer and will have at least one direct report. The HR Manager will be responsible for all internal HR activities across the company.
 Main Responsibilities



  • Coordinating and administrating all HR policies, processes and procedures;

  • Developing new HR processes or improving current ones where needed;

  • Generating HR reports when needed;

  • Supporting department managers with recruitment and hiring of new staff;

  • Managing the HR system (VIP Premier HR) and all internal HR records;

  • Managing the timesheet system and ensuring correct donor allocations in conjunction with the Finance Manager;

  • Ensuring all salary and deduction information is correct on a monthly basis in conjunction with the Finance Manager;

  • Ensuring all internal HR queries are addressed efficiently and correctly.


 Required Education and Experience



  • Professional qualification in human resources or similar qualification

  • At least 3+ years work experience in HR at a mid or senior level

  • Track record of excellent internal customer service

  • Experience with VIP HR software is desired

  • Experience in donor-funded environment is desired
