Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a HR Manager
HR MANAGER
REPORTING TO GENERAL MANAGER
PURPOSETo ensure sound employee relations whilst developing and maintaining appropriate skills and achieving legal compliance
KEY JOB OUTPUTS

The key job outputs of the function include, but are not limited to:
|
- Ensure Company compliance with labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, B-BBEEAj SDA)
- Advise Management on disciplinary processes (Disciplinary enquiries, appeals, grievances)
- Represent the Company in Conciliations, Arbitrations, Con/Arb at CCMA and/or Bargaining Council
- Liaise and engage with representative unions (monthly meetings, daily issues)
- Ensure training initiatives are aligned with business requirements and Company high potential/key employee plan
- Manage and facilitate succession planning and provide strategic direction/guidance
- Manage and control recruitment practices and procedures
- Guide, advise and facilitate performance management activities (performance reviews, poor work performance issues, probation)
- Fulfil functions associated with Employment Equity Manager
- Manage Company's B-BBEE compliance status
- Manage and control headcount (including planning, monitoring and review, organograms)
- Supervise and co-ordinate absenteeism controls
- Reporting (weekly and monthly reports)
- Provide direction and guidance to HR department personnel
KEY COMPETENCIES:

Essential competencies (knowledge/skill) required to perform output
|
- B-tech: HR Management (Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources / Labour Law advantageous)
- Senior management experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience (advantageous)
- Excellent Labour law knowledge and experience (MEIBC/MIBCO Main Agreement knowledge advantageous)
- Excellent inter-personal skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills PC Literacy in MS Office
