Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team and ensure timeous and error free delivery of the team
• Conduct regular audits and implement appropriate checking mechanisms and quality controls
• Continually review and improve the efficiency and productivity of the shared services team by focusing on people, process and technology
• Meet compliance requirements and align to a regional and global risk framework
• Drive a shared services function for all SA based operations whilst providing remote support for regional offices
• Provide the first point of contact for all employee queries, migrating to an HR call centre approach
• Support the business in contacting people who are AWOL with a continuous focus on how to help reduce absence and attrition
• Oversee and ensure the accurate and timeous generation of employee contracts and addendums (based on templates)
• Oversee and manage credit and criminal checks and remediation
• Ensure upload and maintenance of employee files, with a plan for migration to a paperless environment
• Provide reporting for HR colleagues and the business with a focus on data analytics and insights

Experience:

• 4+ years of HR shared services experience in a sizeable organisation, or professional services environment
• 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role
• Experience leading a shared services function in a mid to large size, fast paced and high-growth organisation

Skills:
• Ability to motivate team to produce quality outputs within tight timeframes,and simultaneously manage several projects
• Ability to think strategically regarding the future development of HR Shared Services
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and to respond flexibly to change in a fast-paced work environment
