Mining Services client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to facilitate and manage the HR portfolio. This role will provide operational direction and support to the senior management team and line management.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Talent Management
• Recruitment
• Training and development
• Compliance - Collaborate with other departments as appropriate to identify and address potential areas of compliance and risk in relation to human resource matters (POPI and PAIA); Employment Equity Report compilation; Skills Development Act; Health and Safety participation in meetings; Environmental sustainability.
• Employee Relations - Conflict resolution facilitation where appropriate; Support to Owen Adendorff and Associates in relation to IR matters.
• Payroll Management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPOSURE
• Sound knowledge of all areas pertaining to Human Resource Management including, recruitment and selection, legislative frameworks, skills development, change management, organizational design, talent management, labour relations, compensation and benefits, and a working knowledge of the Codes of Good Practice on BBBEE Strong project management skills; Budget planning and cost management skills; Process management and problem solving; Excellent computer literacy skills; Excellent communication skills.
• Manage full payroll function with the support of Site Clerks
• VIP Payroll exposure
• Exposure within the mining sector is essential
