Develop an HR Strategy that will support this agricultural business in achieving its goals. Work in close collaboration with the local leaders, especially the Country Manager in South Africa and the Corporate HR team in Europe. If you are happy communicating with others, have clear impact and influencing skills and can manage different situations in an appropriate way then we would love to hear from you. This role will not suit someone coming from a corporate environment. The successful incumbent will be required to liaise with farm workers and will be happy to work in a very multi-cultural and diverse organization and team.



Qualification:

University Degree in HR Management or Industrial Psychology



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 - 8 years’ work experience in leading a Human Resources department and in managing HR frameworks and systems

Native English

Being proficient in Spanish will be an advantage or another language

Discretion

Handling disciplinary issues effectively

Capable of prioritizing and differentiating urgent activities from important ones

People orientation

Demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills



Job Description:

Reporting to the Country Manager in South Africa and the Corporate HR team based in Europe.

Developing an HR strategy that will support the business in achieving its goals.

Within the strategy the successful appointee will be accountable for leveraging all HR platforms such as organizational structures, talent attraction and onboarding, performance management, talent growth, training, compensation and benefits, culture and engagement, labour relations and HR administration.

Inspire and motivate team members to achieve performance results.

Manage the workforce to supply the business with efficiency an increased in productivity.

Ensure that all the HR budgeting and forecasting process is managed accordingly.

Interview, select and onboard the best talent that fits with the companies present and future needs.

Strong driving force to implement and manage HR systems including administration and analyses of HR metrics with a view to continuous improvement and best practices.

Building ongoing dialogue and positive, long-term relationships with the business leaders and their teams.

Ability to advise on potential risks and make recommendations in relation to employment matters and claims.
