HR Officer – Pretoria – Medical Scheme – 6months Contract

Job Summary
To support the Senior Manager Human Capital in managing and enhancing the organisation’s Corporate Services by practicing sound people management.


The following Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) are critical:
? Payroll , reward and recognition of employees
? Operational alignment of HR to the operational objectives and plans of GEMS
? Attraction, recruitment and selection of competent and experienced employees
? On boarding of newly appointed employees
? Coordination of training and development to ensure growth and development of employees
? Administer and co-ordinate the performance management process system
? Governance, administration and reporting on HR matters
? Conduct and coordinate exit process
? Co-ordinate implementation of HR Policies
? Update and implement Organisational Structure


Requirements
? At least a 3 year Degree, Diploma or NQF Level 5 Qualification in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology
? At least 3-5 years work experience
? Extensive Knowledge of VIP Payroll; 2-3 years’ experience
? Excellent team work skills
? Ability to provide advice and engage with various stakeholders
? Knowledgeable on Project Management and effective report writing skills
? Self-starter who is able to work independently


Desirable
? Understanding of medical schemes industry
